Welcome

Community Services Policy Statement

Our mandate as the Community Services Committee of Local 444 is to the best of our ability assist those members of our community in need. This will be accomplished by lending our assistance to existing community service agencies, or by taking on the cause ourselves. Service to the community is first and foremost at the head of our agenda.

Our committee will strive to help promote the spirit of generosity and caring in our respective communities.

We will endeavor to bring our family and friends in on our projects. Members of this committee will be given the opportunities to receive training and to attend educational programs that will help build their skills, knowledge, and confidence.

This committee is founded on the premise that all members have an equal voice and that any and all community causes brought forth by committee members will be considered for our participation.

This policy statement is meant to be a start for our committee and should be viewed as an ever-evolving commitment to our community, our committee members, and, of course, our local.
