Retired Workers Chapter Executive Board
Retiree's ChaptersTo-day and every day CAW 444 retirees are actively involved in local and political issues. Retirees chapters were formed to keep retirees together and know when they move away.CAW retirees are one of the most political active groups in the country. Our main concerns are Pensions, CPP, OAS, and benefits, are the programs that we will be fighting for to retain. The struggle for the elderly to have prescription drugs, long term care, affordable housing they are our many and continues battles. Since 1951 the UAW and the CAW have won many victories, however the battles aren't over. Lurking in the background are the multi-nationals, wanting to take away our benefits and lower our pensions. We must resist them at all costs. The retirees chapters are the heart and soul of the CAW retirees programs. Support them.
