We at the Local 444 Unifor/Caesars Windsor Workers Adjustment Centre would like to express our deepest thanks to the Brothers and Sisters of Unifor Local444 employed at the Chrysler Assembly Plant in Body and White. This amazing group of People came together and raised S1300.00 dollars by selling meals in their area.
We would like to thank allthe members that were involved with a special thanks to Paul Boulos for preparing the food and organizing the event. We would like to thank the following team leaders for all the help that was given, from taking orders to delivering the meals: Tim Tilson, Lindsey Boyle, Vince Ferrano, Emile Azar,Larry Hayes, Chris Hogan and Laura Mansell.
The monies were then topped up by Local444 Unifor for a grand total of 52000.00. We at the Local 444 Unifor / Caesars Windsor Workers Adjustment Centre work with our fellow members of Unifor Local 444 from Caesars Windsor. During these very hard times these members deal with a severe reduction in hours, which means a lack of finances during the year, but with the holiday season approaching this intensifies the stress they already feel. Our members have always been very hard working, and through no fault of their own have found themselves in the need of assistance during the holidays. The funds that were raised will help the Centre create Grocery baskets and Gift Cards for our members and their families in need.
We at the Centre would like to once again thank all involved and would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Holiday Season.
